PC motherboards are not designed to accommodate many of the latest graphics cards. They often occupy the width of 2 slots and it is not possible to use all the slots on the computer board. Thanks to a special extension cable - the riser cable, you can connect any card, because it is the only way to provide adequate space for installation.

Riser consists of a female PCI-E 16x socket, a USB cable, a male PCI-E 1x socket and a 2x 6PIN to SATA + Molex to SATA plug, which allows you to connect additional power to the card, thanks to which we can reduce the load on the motherboard and avoid burns paths when multiple graphics cards work simultaneously. This is the cheapest way to improve ventilation and allows you to use all available PCI-E 1x slots at the same time.

Compared to the previous versions, e.g. 006C, the new version 009S has a better chipset and two LEDs 3.3V and 12V indicating the operating status of the riser.
